When you’re finished monitoring, configuring, or updating your battery system, it is recommended to properly disconnect the device using the application interface.
This ensures a clean shutdown of communication and prevents potential data loss or logging issues.
How to Safely Disconnect from a Device
Follow the steps below to disconnect a battery device from the Battery Buddy desktop application:
- Open the Device Info Panel
- Click on the Device Info icon located in the top-right corner of the window (next to the Settings icon).
- This will open a side panel containing device-specific details and options.
- Click on the “Disconnect” Button
- Within the side panel, locate the red “Disconnect” link in the top-right corner.
- Click on it to safely terminate the communication between the application and the connected device.
