The App Settings section in the Battery Buddy mobile app allows users to manage data logging preferences, choose storage locations, and check for application updates.
1. Save Data Logs
- Toggle ON/OFF to enable or disable saving of battery data logs.
- When ON, the app continuously records log files of system activity for later review.
- When OFF, log recording is paused.
2. Storage Location
- Choose where logs should be saved:
- Internal Storage (default option)
- SD Card (if available on the device)
- Useful for managing space if logs are large.
3. App Version & Updates
- Shows the current app version (e.g., 2.3.4).
- App automatically checks for updates.
- States you may see:
- Checking for updates…
- App is up to date
- A new update is available with Update now button.
How to Access App Settings
- From the Home screen, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Select App Settings.
- Adjust logging and storage preferences or check for updates as needed.
Tip: Keep Save Data Logs ON and check for updates regularly to ensure your app has the latest stability and performance improvements.
