Create a Report

The Reports section allows you to generate customised report templates based on the available asset data. Follow the steps below to create a report:

1. Go to Reports

Navigate to the Reports tab from the left-side menu. Here, you will see the Report Template List. If no reports exist, the list will be empty.

2. Create a New Template

Click on the New template button (green button on the top-right).

3. Fill Report Details

A Create Report form will open. Enter the following:

  • Name – Provide a suitable name for your report (e.g., Daily Report).
  • Asset Profile – Select the appropriate asset profile from the dropdown.
  • Description – Optionally, add a description for your report.

4. Select Fields

On the right side, you will see the list of available fields based on the selected asset profile.

  • Use the checkboxes to select the fields you want to include in your report.
  • You can select a few specific fields (e.g., BMS State, Latitude, Longitude) or choose all available fields.

5. Save the Report

Once you’ve selected the fields, click Create.
A success message will confirm that your report template has been created.

6. View or Manage Reports

  • The new report will now appear in the Report Template List.
  • Click on a report to view its details such as name, type, created by, created date, and selected fields.
  • You can also use the three-dot menu to Copy and Create, Edit, or Delete a report.

Your report is now ready, and you can reuse or edit it as needed for your data analysis.
