Create a Dashboard

You can create a new dashboard in Vec-TR by copying an existing one and editing its details.

Step 1: Go to Dashboard

  • Navigate to the Dashboard tab from the left-hand menu.
  • You can choose an existing dashboard from either My Dashboards (parent org) or All Dashboards (parent + sub-orgs).
Navigate to the Dashboard tab and select from My Dashboards or All Dashboards.

Step 2: Copy an Existing Dashboard

  • Locate the dashboard you want to use as a base.
  • Click on the three dots (⋮) next to it.
  • Select Copy and Create.
Use the Copy and Create option to create a new dashboard from an existing one.

Step 3: Edit Dashboard Details

  • A Create New Dashboard dialog box will open.
  • Fill in the required fields:
    • Name: Enter a suitable name for your new dashboard.
    • Organization: Select the organization from the dropdown list.
    • Asset Profile: Choose the asset profile for this dashboard.
    • Description (Optional): Add a description for better clarity.
Enter the dashboard name, select the organization and asset profile, and optionally add a description.


Step 4: Save the Dashboard

  • Once the details are filled, click Create.
  • The new dashboard will be visible under the All Dashboards tab.
  • If it belongs to your parent organization, it will also appear in My Dashboards.
Newly created dashboard appears in All Dashboards and in My Dashboards if it belongs to the parent organization.

You have successfully created a new dashboard in Vec-TR.
