The Homepage of the Battery Buddy mobile app serves as the central hub where you can monitor your battery’s critical parameters in real time. As soon as a connection with the device is established, the homepage provides a comprehensive snapshot of the battery’s status and performance in an easy-to-read layout.
The dashboard is organized into multiple tiles and sections, each designed to display specific battery information:
1. Device Overview
At the top of the homepage, the app displays:
- Device ID – Unique identifier of the connected battery.
- Connection Status – A green “Connected” indicator when the device is successfully paired.
- State of Charge (SoC) – Displayed as a central percentage value inside a circular progress bar.
- The bar color changes depending on SoC:
- 0–20% → Red
- 21–50% → Orange
- 51–100% → Green
- The bar color changes depending on SoC:
- Charging/Idle Status – Shown below the SoC (e.g., Charging, Idle).
- Last Synced Timestamp – Indicates the exact date and time when the app last refreshed data.

2. Key Battery Parameters
The next section displays tiles for:
- Pack Voltage (V)
- Pack Current (A)
- Average Temperature (°C)
- Cycle Count
- Capacity Left (Ah)
These parameters update dynamically based on real-time device data.

3. Zone Temperatures
This section lists the temperature values recorded by sensors placed across multiple battery zones.
- Each Zone (e.g., Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3…) is shown with its respective temperature in °C.
- Useful for identifying hotspots or inconsistencies across the pack.

4. Battery Details
At the bottom, the app provides additional metadata about the connected battery:
- Cell Count
- Typical Capacity (Ah)
- Software Version
- Production Date

This layout ensures users can quickly glance at their battery health, performance, and safety parameters on a single screen.
